Sam Fisher studied at the Welsh School of Pharmacy in Cardiff, and registered as a pharmacist in 1997 after completion of her pre-registration placement with Lloyds Pharmacy. She then went on to successfully attain her MSc in Clinical Community Pharmacy at the Welsh School of Pharmacy before moving into more operational roles within the organisation. Sam has held several pharmacy operational roles including Area Manager and Regional Operations Manager, then latterly central roles responsible for leading key business transformation initiatives and her current role as Head of Pharmacy Affairs for McKesson UK. As well as being a board member of CCA, Sam is also Vice Chair of Community Pharmacy Wales, and a member of the ministerial advisory Welsh Pharmaceutical Committee.
